Sanford Holshouser Completes HADCO Strategic Action Plan

The Huntington Area Development Council (HADCO), located in Huntington, West Virginia, engaged Sanford Holshouser Economic Development Consulting (SHEDC) to conduct a new Strategic Action Plan which was completed in August of 2022.

The SHEDC strategic plan identifies several key action items for the organization to work on over the next three to five years and provides a roadmap for the organization’s future goals.

The HADCO staff, Board of Directors and community leadership were excellent to work with in completing the overall strategic assessment and provided tremendous input into the final action items.

HADCO’s President and CEO David Lieving said the following: “With the completion of the Economic Development Strategic Action Plan, HADCO now has a united vision to further strengthen our local economy. The plan provides our economic development organization a blueprint and cohesive vision on how we plan to grow the communities we serve in the Huntington, WV area.  The Sanford Holshouser team effectively led our staff, board, and stakeholders through months of work bringing us together as we worked toward the common goal of developing a relevant plan that will help us to build a strong and vibrant economy in our area.”
